Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine - Infectious Disease

Meghan Brennan, MD, MS is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and practices infectious disease as a clinician.  Her research focuses on diabetic foot ulcers and infections, including osteomyelitis and gangrene.  She is investigating the role of an infectious disease specialist in preventing major amputations among patients with these conditions.  Prior research areas include both quantitative and qualitative approaches to universal HIV screening among low-risk populations, which culminated in her thesis for a Master’s in Epidemiology.
